Safe-Deck Strips are a very quick and easy solution to deal with slipping problems associated with standard timber decking.

The Strips are simply screw fixed on to the existing timbers through the pre-drilled holes. Decking Strip screws are provided.

Durability
Safe-Deck Strips are manufactured by pultrusion, this technique means the product does not expand and contract as much as other products currently on the market.

Definition: pultrusion is a process for producing continuous fibres for advanced composites which involves pulling re-inforcements through tanks of thermoset resins, a pre-former, and then a die where the product is formed into its final shape.

Slip Resistant
With the application of Safe-Deck Strips, timber decking areas that can be slippery are instantly, safely transformed.

Simple Installation
Safe-Deck Strips have been cleverly designed for quick and easy installation. The Strips come with pre-drilled holes and all screw fixings are provided. Furthermore, unlike other products gluing is not required to install this useful product.

Appearance
Due to the range of widths available, Safe-Deck Strips are able to compliment existing decking areas by making an aesthetically pleasing feature against the timber substrate.

Technical

Safe-deck Strips are available in widths of 50mm, 90mm and 120mm x 3mm thick. The decking strips are simply screw fixed onto the existing timbers through pre-drilled holes using the decking strip screws provided. It is available in lengths of 1200mm and 2400mm making the product perfect for the majority of decking areas and walkways.
To further contribute to safety both leading edges of the profile have been designed with a chamfer.
