Overview

SERPS are a useful addition to the SafeEdge range. Installing the risers means that not only is the whole of the tread covered but the step riser itself is also completely covered offering a visually better appearance.

Like the SafeEdge nosings and StairTread covers, the SERPS are made from fibreglass materials so will not rot, twist or warp. However for this product the front surface has a smooth finish.

Benefits

Existing Substrate Cover
Building Regulations require that all risers must be between 150mm and 170mm high. When SERPS combines with StairTreads the product is able to deal with the majority of riser heights.

Visually Transforms
With other products it is generally the case that existing risers are the same as the main substrate, which often spoil the look of the stairs, particularly when TreadCovers have also been installed. The SERPS riser plates therefore clad and cover the existing step riser and so complete the look of the stairs.

Fast Installation
SERPS are extremely simple to install as they are simply glued in place and if used with the addition of StairTread Covers there is a secondary fixing method.

Minimum Maintenance
To maintain a clean surface finish of SERPS all that is required is to wipe over with warm soapy water. This is a major benefit of course over painted risers which need sanding down and repainting on a regular basis.

Technical

Size
SafeEdge Riser Plates (SERPS) are available as 4mm thick and145mm high by 3000mm long. If necessary the riser Plates can be cut to the required step width.

Colour
SERPS riser Plates are currently available in a black finish. While other colours are available, they are subject to a minimum order quantity as well as an extended leadtime.

Fixing kits are available for all Non-Slip Safety Products.
