Surefoot (Flat Sheet)

The Surefoot flat sheet, which has the same characteristics as Safety Step stair treads and landing covers is ideal for walkways, ramps, gangways, factory floors etc.

Its durability withstands the movement of forklift trucks and other heavy duty vehicles and therefore can be used in areas that are subjected to heavy traffic movement. The silicon and carbon grit which is chemically bonded to the top surface offers unbelievable slip resistancy, even in wet or oily conditions.

Flat sheet installation
Installing Surefoot flat sheet is generally very quick, easy and similar to the installation of other flooring materials. The standard sheets can be easily cut around existing structures and simply laid together to form a complete surface coverage. The existing substrate will determine the exact fixing methods however adhesives and mechanical fixings are the norm.

Dimensions and colours
Standard stock panels are 2400mm x 1200mm x nominally 4mm thick. A free cutting service is available to meet project requirements. The standard stock colours available are black, yellow, blue or stone however, subject to minimum order quantities and extended delivery periods, any BS or RAL colour is available.

Surefoot Flexi

Surefoot Flexi is a nominally 1mm thick flexible GRP sheet with an anti slip grit top surface, ideally suited for use in low traffic areas.

The product is constructed using flexible resins, which allows the sheet to be laid on undulating surfaces and walkways where a less flexible sheet may not be suitable.

Like standard Non Slip products, a compound of a special formula of grit is added in the final layer of laminate providing an excellent slip resistant and hard wearing surface.

Versatile Material
As Surefoot Flexi is made from 1mm thick flexible resins it allows for the material to be laid over substrates that are not completely flat and will mould to the substrate shape.

Simple to install
The Flexi sheets can be simply bonded down to the substrate using a suitable structural adhesive.

Specifications

Surefoot Flexi is available in standard stock sheet sizes 2400mm x 1200mm and off the shelf as 600mm sheets. The larger sheets allow for simple fast installation of large areas. The 600mm sheets allow for easy replacement of damaged areas, without the need to purchase full sized sheets. In the 2400mm x 1200mm sheet, stock colours are black, yellow and white. 600mm sheets are available in black.

Surefoot Flat Tiles

Surefoot Flat Tiles have all the features of normal Surefoot Flat Sheets but are supplied in an easy to handle 600mm x 600mm x 4mm thick tile. Should one panel become damaged, it is an extremely easy task to remove and replace with a new one.

Surefoot Flat Tiles come with five pre-drilled holes so can simply be screw fixed to an existing substrate.

Specifications

The production method of Surefoot Flat Tile, which is made via a SMC (Sheet Mould Compound) ensures good dimensional accuracy, nice clean edges which are free from residue and allows each tile to butt together or be left with a small expansion gap, much like traditional ceramic floor tiles.

The standard stock colours are Black and Stone however, as with our standard Surefoot Flat Sheet, any BS or RAL colour is available subject to minimum order quantity and an extended delivery lead time.
