Trenchware (Gully Floor Panels)

The ideal solution for gullies, access pits and service trenches. Manufactured to order, the constructed panels fit neatly over open areas and can be easily removed as required, for service and maintenance access. Weighing around 18kgs per square metre, removal can normally be carried out by two persons and therefore eliminating the need for heavy lifting equipment. The unique 'U' channel profiles incorporate a silicon carbon grit top surface to provide excellent slip resistancy and have exceptional load deflection quantities, allowing clear spans of up to 1350mm.

Dimensions and fixings
The height of the supplied Trenchware panels is determined by the clear span they will have to cope with verses our acceptable deflection (5mm) when subjected to a uniform load of 500kgs over an area of 1.0m x 1.0m. As standard, Trenchware is supplied in a height of 40mm which is capable of dealing with the maximum span, The actual constructed panel sizes are determined by the application requirements and are limited only by the restrictions of transportation.

Trenchware is secured using fixings suitable for the existing substrate. Recessed cups provide the facility of ensuring that the fixing heads sit below the Trenchware surface.

Connection system
Each individual 'plank' profile is connected to the next one by way of a tried and tested interlocking pultruded fibreglass rod system.

The specially designed side connectors maintain the required gap between each 'plank' profile and the entire structure is secured together by the inclusion of an epoxy glued centre bar.
